"We booked hunters moon for a family new year break and my husband's 60th birthday , a perfect quirky house with amazing features and lovely grounds ,

The host jo was very accommodating and Lorraine the housekeeper went above and beyond to sort out a few minor issues ,she was very professional and lovely .
The house is fairly isolated but is within easy reach of Glastonbury & Wells.If you like walks there are some lovely bridal paths and fields to explore around the area with great wildlife.
We would highly recommend this property and we are looking forward to returning at some point in the future .

"I held my second retreat here the past weekend. Once again Hunter's Moon was perfect. Jo was extremely helpful and communication was brilliant throughout. The house was perfect and we were met with a gorgeous welcome basket. The wisteria was in bloom this year and mad the house look even more magical. We all left feeling relaxed and recharged. Everyone loved Hunter's Moon and we can't wait to come back. - May 2026

"Just back from a second visit to Hunter's Moon, Glastonbury (May 2026) This second visit was just as awesome, if not more so, than the the first visit (March 2025) last year. It is such a magical, peaceful & unique place. From the moment you walk through the door the house hugs you & you instantly relax. The design is unique and each room has its own personality & quirks. It is amazingly equipped both in the kitchen & the bedrooms. The owners leave a fabulous welcome basket and some lovely Elemis mini toiletries in each en suite.
The gardens are equally magical with so many pathways, nooks & crannies to explore. Throughout the gardens there are secluded areas where you can escape for moments of peace & reflection. At the end of a day of exploring Glastonbury, only 5 miles away, & the beautiful surrounding area you can also relax in the hot tub.
This will not be our last visit as we intend to make this an annual event." - May 2026

"We have come back from our Christmas break at Hunter's Moon feeling refreshed and revitalised. It is a very special place, with plenty of room and is the epitome of luxury. It is our second time going to Hunter's Moon and I must say that Jo is a fantastic host and is very responsive, friendly and efficient. We are always impressed with the detail of the design, but how homely it is, from the hot tub through to the cinematic pod this holiday home is the perfect place to indulge and relax. “An amazing property in a secluded location that allows you to appreciate how brilliant people and nature are.
We spent 4 fantastic nights here admiring the architecture and the nature that we were surrounded by.
The woodpeckers kept us entranced with their daily visits. Our grandson loved feeding the fish each day and the thrill of the fish coming to the surface as soon as you approached never lost its charm. We weren't fortunate enough to see the badgers but live in hope that maybe one day we will. We loved the attention to detail - especially the little wooden owl. We visited Glastonbury and its Tor. We went to Wells for a spot of window shopping and in the hope that we might get to see the swans ring the bell at the cathedral - we saw the swans and the bell but alas there was no bell ringing by them that day. We spent our evenings relaxing either in front of a film in the Star Pod or in front of the fire in the snug.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and a big thank you to the gardener for the peanuts!
Thank you allowing us to stay in this remarkable place, we hope that one day we will be able to come back and stay here again, every time I think about our stay here there is a smile on my face, and I know my husband, grandson and little dog are the same." - 2023

Perfect stay

'Perfection! Cannot speak too highly of this beautiful property and the care of the hosts. Every last detail is taken care of. We will never forget our week here before Christmas 2021 - watching Christmas films in the cinema pod, taking hot tubs in the frosty evenings and sitting in the snug by the fire.
